About the role

As a Security Officer - Manufacturer in Tempe, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer at a financial institution, where you will monitor access, conduct routine patrols, respond to security-related concerns, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the financial institution and surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor entrances, common areas, and restricted locations, and report suspicious activity and/or policy violations.
  • Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately, and communicate security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.

Requirements

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Skills

  • Security-related experience.
  • Guard Card and/or license.
  • Access control and/or badge experience.
