As a Security Officer Lobby Attendant in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic media and technology location as a Front Desk Security Officer, where you will greet guests, manage access, monitor activity, and support a professional, welcoming environment. In this highly visible role, you will help address security-related concerns through clear communication, strong customer service, and attention to detail while reflecting our values of agility, reliability, teamwork, innovation, and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, monitoring access activity, and supporting security-related protocols for a professional media and technology location.
• Greet employees, guests, and vendors, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help to manage sign-in processes in alignment with location policies.
• Answer questions, direct visitors to appropriate contacts or meeting areas, and communicate clearly with building personnel regarding arrivals, deliveries, and/or access requests.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details through required communication and documentation channels.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including notifying key contacts, relaying instructions, and helping to coordinate front desk response actions.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$17.50 - $18.50 / Hour

Schedule

• Day shift: Monday through Friday, 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM
