About the role
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location in Scottsdale, AZ, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to security-related concerns.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial office spaces, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
Requirements
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Pay
$22.28 / hour
Schedule
- Monday: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
- Tuesday: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM
- Saturday: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
- Sunday: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
