Job Description

As a Security Officer Lobby Access in Lake Mary, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location where you will serve at the front desk, greeting visitors, managing access and badges, and supporting security-related procedures with professionalism and care. • DayTime: Mon 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM, Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Sat 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM, Sun 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM

What You'll Do

Provide customer service by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or access credentials, and following site-specific front desk and security-related procedures for a technology-focused location.
Monitor lobby and reception activity, manage visitor check-in and sign-in processes, and help to deter unauthorized access through attentive access control practices.
Answer questions, direct employees, guests, and vendors to appropriate contacts and/or destinations, and communicate clearly with site personnel regarding arrivals, deliveries, and visitor concerns.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including notifying designated contacts, documenting security-related events, and assisting with front desk communication during urgent situations.

Minimum Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
