Security Officer - Licensed Driver

About the role

Join Allied Universal at a premier financial institution location as an unarmed driving patrol officer. In this role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine driving and foot patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the building, public areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Maintain a visible presence, assist with directions and information, and complete required reports related to incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Must pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
