Security Officer - Licensed Patrol Driver
About the role
Apart from serving and safeguarding clients in various industries like Retail/Malls, you will also contribute to a culture that positively impacts the communities and customers we serve. This driving post requires a valid driver's license and offers the chance to support a people-first team.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and document security-related observations and actions as needed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout storefronts, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, observe customer and tenant activity, and assist with crowd management, opening and closing procedures, and/or special event support as directed by site needs.
- Communicate with site contacts, local responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, and other security-related matters that may affect daily operations.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

DayTime: Fri 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM, Sat 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
