Security Officer - Licensed Patrol Driver

About the role

As a Licensed Patrol Driver Security Officer in Sparks, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Tech, Media, and Telecom. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while responding to security-related concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of technology and aerospace facilities, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual activity or facility concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and maintain visitor and contractor entry records in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Support security-related operations by completing detailed activity reports, following post orders, and communicating professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control/badge experience preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation, drug screen, and compliance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Licensing requirements vary by state and locality and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$24.00 / hour

• Wednesday: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
• Thursday: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
• Friday: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
• Saturday: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
• Sunday: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
