Security Officer Identity Verification Driver

About the role
As an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and help deter security-related incidents through a visible, professional presence. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and team members, and support a caring, reliable, and integrity-driven culture. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate at a chemical and petrochemical location.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor entry procedures, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of access areas, facility grounds, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, contractors, and site personnel while reporting security-related concerns through appropriate channels.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Guard Card/License is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Pay
$17.51 / hour
Schedule
- Monday: 05:00 AM - 05:00 PM
- Saturday: 05:00 AM - 05:00 PM
- Sunday: 05:00 AM - 05:00 PM
