About the role
As an Access Control Security Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. This driving post offers the opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and support a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor and control access to the food and beverage production location by verifying credentials, processing authorized visitors, contractors, and deliveries, and maintaining required entry records.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific reporting and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, exterior areas, employee entrances, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
- Support compliance with facility hygiene, visitor, and restricted-area requirements while communicating professionally with employees, vendors, and guests.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Saturday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
