As a Security Officer Credential Verification Driver in Beaumont, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location.
Responsibilities
- Manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter incidents.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, security-related policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Monitor and control access to a chemical and petrochemical facility by verifying credentials, screening visitors, issuing access badges, and maintaining visitor and vehicle entry records.
- Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating with site contacts and emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, perimeter areas, parking areas, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized access and identify unusual conditions.
- Document daily activities, access-control events, incidents, and observations in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal requirements.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
- A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Qualifications
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
