Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utility-services location.
• Maintain access control by managing access points, verifying credentials, monitoring activity, and helping maintain an orderly environment for employees and visitors.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, facilities, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized entry and identify security-related concerns.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
