Responsibilities
- Aid guests and team members in various situations with professionalism and care.
- Respond to and investigate incidents, accidents, and emergencies involving guests, employees, or property.
- Stay calm, focused, and decisive during crisis situations.
- Accurately document incidents and recall key details when needed.
- Communicate with outside agencies such as Metro Police, Fire Department, and Paramedics during property incidents.
- Follow all company and departmental policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Provide direction and support during emergency situations, following instructions from management and outside authorities.
- Maintain knowledge of investigations, gaming regulations, and internal controls.
- Deliver Caesars Entertainment’s Family Style Service to guests and team members if assigned to casino patrol.
- Handle monetary transactions between the Cage and Gaming Tables in compliance with gaming regulations.
- Distribute gaming table cash boxes and assist with box pulls for the count team.
- Escort for slot drops, stand-bys, and other secure movements as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in security, law enforcement, or military (preferred).
- Valid local driver’s license and clean MVR (36 months, not to exceed 3 points).
- Alcohol Awareness Card.
- Dual-property Gaming License (Tropicana & Harrah’s Laughlin).
- CPR and AED certification.
- Ability to restrain adults in excess of 200 lbs.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with guests, team members, and outside agencies.
Physical & Mental Demands
- Work up to 12-hour shifts any day of the week.
- Run, stand, walk entire shift, and maneuver in confined spaces.
- Work in hot or cold temperatures and outdoor environments.
- Bend, reach, stoop, twist, and lift up to 60 lbs.
- Push/pull up to 150 lbs.
- Tolerate high-noise areas and second-hand smoke.
- Sit for extended periods when required.
- Accurate money/chip handling.
- Computer literacy and ability to type reports.
- Must speak, read, write, and understand English.
