How This Role Works
Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of parking areas, pedestrian routes, entrances, exits, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may need attention.
- Monitor access points, observe vehicle and foot traffic, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns according to post orders and client guidelines.
- Support crowd management, directional assistance, and general presence throughout the location to help maintain orderly operations during peak traffic periods, special events, and/or service disruptions.
Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
