Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities in a hotel and resort setting.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, hallways, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and note unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and restricted areas in accordance with location protocols, assisting with directions, post orders, and security-related inquiries.
• Support hotel operations by reporting maintenance-related concerns, assisting during disturbances or evacuations, and/or helping to maintain an orderly environment for guests and staff.

Requirements

• Security-related experience of at least 6 months is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
