Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a hotel location.
• Monitor lobby and front desk activity, assist with access control practices, and report unusual behavior, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations with professionalism, clear communication, and coordination with site contacts and/or local responders when appropriate.
• Support visitor management by checking identification when required, documenting front desk activity, and helping to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Licenses and certifications: State, county, and/or city issued security-related license; access control and/or badge experience; guard card and/or license; high school diploma or equivalent.
• Age requirements: 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen: Subject to all federal, state, and local laws; applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
