Security Officer - Full Time Hotel Patrol

About the role

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a hotel and resort location in San Antonio, TX, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide welcoming customer service to guests and staff. You will communicate clearly, respond to security-related concerns, and support a positive environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to guests, visitors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of guest areas, entrances, parking areas, amenities, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Requirements

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
