Security Officer - Parking Structure Patrol Driver

About the role

As a Security Officer - Parking Structure Patrol Driver in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout parking areas, access points, walkways, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor site activity and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior to the appropriate personnel in accordance with post instructions.
• Support access control practices by observing entrances and exits, verifying authorized presence when required, and providing directions and assistance to the public.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
