Security Officer Hospital Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer Hospital Patrol in LINCOLN, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and contacting appropriate facility personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Maintain access control and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, providing directions and assistance to patients and visitors as needed.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly using required reporting procedures.

Requirements

• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• Alarm Panel Experience is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Lift More Than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
