About the role
As a Security Officer Hospital Patrol in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with staff, visitors, and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, assisting with access control practices and reporting security-related concerns according to site procedures.
- Document observations, incidents, and/or routine activities in a clear manner and report changes in conditions to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
Requirements
- Hospital-required vaccines are required.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
- Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital environment is required.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Must pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Must pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Skills
- Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital environment (preferred).
- Customer service experience (preferred).
