Job Description

As a Security Officer Hospital Patrol Agent in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and common areas, assist with visitor directions, and communicate with staff regarding security-related concerns and/or operational issues.
• Support emergency and incident response activities, including documenting events, contacting appropriate personnel, and following post orders for healthcare environments.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be able to meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• This position may involve working in or around a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment when required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
