Security Officer Patrol Agent

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and help to verify entry authorization for employees, visitors, and/or contractors in accordance with site protocols and government location requirements.
• Prepare clear, timely reports of incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or suspicious activity, and relay relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Requirements

• Possess a TSA issued TWIC.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.
