About the role
Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities appropriate for an industrial refinery location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, contractors, and visitors, verifying credentials, enforcing site rules, and supporting authorized access to restricted areas.
- Support incident reporting and communication efforts by maintaining accurate logs, completing required reports, and coordinating with site personnel and/or first responders when needed.
Requirements
- This is primarily a driving post.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
