Security Officer Patrol Agent

About the role

As a Security Officer Patrol Agent in Bristol, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or potential hazards.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor access as required, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Support site operations by completing routine reports, maintaining awareness of location activity, and following post orders that help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptions.

Requirements

• Possess 2 or more years of security-related experience.
• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Possess a DD214 with honorable discharge or an associate degree or 60 college credits or a police academy certificate or a corrections academy certificate.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Skills

• Computer literacy preferred.
