Security Officer Patrol Agent

About the role

Apart from providing security services at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will also support access awareness, offer excellent customer service and communication, and contribute to a team that values innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and communicating observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, loading and receiving zones, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information as directed by site procedures, and report maintenance issues, hazards, and other security-related observations noticed during patrols.

Requirements

• Possess supervisory experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• This is primarily a driving post.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures.
