Security Officer Patrol Agent

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a government transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following post orders and communication protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout public areas, restricted areas, buildings, parking locations, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe people, vehicles, and/or property for suspicious behavior, reporting concerns and documenting security-related activities according to site procedures.
• Support site personnel, visitors, and/or the public with directions, information, and incident reporting while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.

Requirements

• A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
