About the role
As a Security Officer Patrol Agent in Chattanooga, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming atmosphere through strong customer service and communication. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site expectations.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, parking areas, dock zones, trailer yards, warehouse spaces, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and traffic flow for staff, visitors, and/or delivery personnel, assisting with entry procedures and observing for unusual activity.
- Support daily operations by communicating with site contacts, documenting security-related concerns, and helping to maintain order during routine and unexpected events.
Requirements
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
