Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical emergencies, disruptive behavior, and access-related concerns.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, helping support an orderly environment for patients and healthcare personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
