Security Officer Part Time
About the role
GardaWorld Security Services is now hiring a Concierge Security Officer in Morgantown, WV. The ideal candidate will have exceptional customer service skills and a background in security, military, or law enforcement.
Responsibilities
- Tell visitors how their visit will be managed
- Verify visitor identities and ensure they are allowed entry
- Guide visitors to their destinations within the facility
- Manage access control systems
- Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks
- Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
- Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
- Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
- Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
Qualifications
- Able to work in the U.S.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Pass an extensive screening process
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Basic phone and computer skills
- Security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred
- State license required if applicable

Pay
Competitive hourly wage of $15.25 per hour.
Schedule
Temporary position for the summer, possibly permanent. Set schedule: Friday and Saturday 11:00 pm to 7:00 am.
Skills
Exceptional customer service skills, proficient in basic phone & computer skills, security, military, or law enforcement experience.
