As a Security Officer Part‑Time Perimeter Patrol Driver in Raleigh, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in various industries such as healthcare. You can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using the Claim a Shift platform. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will deliver exceptional customer service and communication while upholding Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team‑focused, and integrity‑driven values.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out site‑specific procedures and security‑related policies at a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, medical‑related disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Monitor access points and assist with directing visitors, staff, and/or emergency responders in accordance with facility protocols.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
