About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic logistics location in Newton, MS. Conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide responsive customer service and clear communication. Working with an agile, reliable team, you will help protect people and property while demonstrating integrity, care, teamwork, and an innovative approach each day.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, recognizing that working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Loss prevention experience.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
  • X-ray screening experience.

Pay

$16.25 / hour

Schedule

  • Monday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
  • Tuesday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
  • Wednesday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
  • Sunday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
