Security Officer Full Time Visitor Management Coordinator

About the role

As a Front Desk Security Professional in a commercial real estate location, you will serve as a welcoming presence for tenants, visitors, and employees. You will manage access, assist with visitor check-in, monitor security-related activity, and communicate concerns while delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control processes, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Staff the front desk, greet and screen visitors, verify identification and appointments, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor logs.
• Monitor building access points, cameras, alarms, and communication systems, reporting unusual activity and supporting security-related response procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and following established escalation protocols.
• Provide directions, answer general building inquiries, and assist with maintaining a professional, welcoming lobby environment.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
