About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Visitor Management in Palm City, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a residential community, you will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access, greeting residents and visitors, and communicating professionally. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, community policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor access points and verify authorization for residents, guests, contractors, deliveries, and service personnel entering the residential community.
  • Maintain accurate visitor, vendor, and incident documentation in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of community entrances, common areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.

Requirements

  • A Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
