Security Officer Full Time Vehicle Patrol Driver

About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Vehicle Patrol Driver in Commercial Point, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for shoppers and team members. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store associates while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail sales areas, stockrooms, common areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within the location, reporting unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly retail environment by providing directions, supporting store opening and closing activities, and documenting incidents as required.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
