Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Vehicle Patrol Driver

About the role

As a Full Time Unarmed Vehicle Patrol Driver in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Logistics & Distribution. This role involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, delivery-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, vehicle yards, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, patrol observations, and security-related activities according to site procedures.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
