About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Vehicle Patrol Driver in Markham, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access as directed, and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, or policy violations to appropriate site contacts.
• Maintain clear, accurate activity logs and incident reports while communicating professionally with Allied Universal leadership and site stakeholders.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

$19.75 / Hour

Day Time: Thursday 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM, Friday 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM, Saturday 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM, Sunday 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM
