About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Vehicle Patrol Driver in Federal Way, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Security Professional at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, and guests. This primarily driving role includes operating a vehicle in accordance with Allied Universal policies, responding to security-related concerns, and communicating clearly with onsite teams. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail property, including common areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for unusual activity, property hazards, and policy violations, and report observations through required documentation and communication channels.
• Assist with access control, visitor directions, and customer inquiries while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Pay & Schedule

Position Type: Full Time. Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour. Schedule: Wednesday through Sunday, 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM.
