Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Property Patrol

About the Role

Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Patrol Officer to support a vital utilities location in Honolulu, HI. In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, observe and report security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utility location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, hazards, or unauthorized access.
• Monitor and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle access in accordance with site requirements, maintaining accurate activity logs and incident reports.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly environment around critical utility infrastructure by reporting observed conditions requiring attention to appropriate site personnel.

Requirements

• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $22.28 / Hour
• Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM
