As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Outreach in Glendale, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or community members by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, student-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with school site procedures, directing individuals to appropriate offices or locations as needed.
• Document observations, incidents, and unusual activity accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to school personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$19.00 / Hour

Schedule

Day Time, Monday through Friday, 07:30 AM - 04:00 PM
