Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol
About the role
As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Carry out regular and random foot patrols throughout the retail location, including common areas, entrances, exits, corridors, and perimeter areas, noting unusual activity and/or conditions that could impact daily operations.
- Monitor access points, help to deter unauthorized entry, and provide visible support during opening, closing, and peak traffic periods.
- Support loss prevention awareness by observing customer and visitor activity, reporting suspicious behavior, and following post orders related to trespassing, loitering, and/or after-hours activity.
Requirements
- A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
