Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol

As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol in Georgetown, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting de-escalation and contacting emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential hazards.
• Maintain an authorized armed presence in accordance with post orders and applicable guidelines, helping to support a professional environment during routine operations and/or emergency situations.

Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Qualifications

• Have an armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
