Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time Armed Patrol Driver in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol professional in a busy retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to visitors, shoppers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including preparing clear and accurate activity and incident reports.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to identify suspicious behavior, assist with access control, and support loss prevention and other security-related concerns at the location.
• Work closely with local management, employees, and/or first responders when needed to address security-related issues, customer concerns, and unusual situations.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
