Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol
About the role
Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer at a prominent financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities appropriate for a financial institution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points, while monitoring for unusual activity and potential security-related concerns.
- Support access control functions by verifying credentials, monitoring entry and exit activity, and reporting unauthorized access attempts or policy violations to help to deter security-related incidents.
- Assist with cash-handling area oversight, opening and closing procedures, and other post orders specific to a financial services environment, while maintaining a professional presence and following Allied Universal standards.
Requirements
- Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
- An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
