About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol in Hanover, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions. As an Armed Security Officer at a financial institution, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for employees, customers, and visitors. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or customers at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and maintain awareness of activity throughout the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.

Requirements

• A valid armed guard card or license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Proof of high school diploma or equivalent required.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay and Schedule

Full Time. Pay Rate: $26.39 / Hour. Schedule: Day Time, Monday 08:45 AM - 05:15 PM, Tuesday 08:45 AM - 05:15 PM, Thursday 08:45 AM - 05:15 PM, Friday 08:45 AM - 05:15 PM.
