Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer (Full Time Unarmed Patrol Emergency Preparedness) in Farmerville, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Food/Beverage. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents. The role involves providing exceptional customer service, clear communication with team members and visitors, and supporting a welcoming environment at a food and beverage processing location.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a food processing environment.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and problem-solving, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility grounds, building exteriors, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report unusual conditions, equipment concerns, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation according to site requirements.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Comply with licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations, which may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Pay

$16.16 per hour.
