What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, offices, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with maintaining authorized entry procedures, and report access-control concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience. This includes experience in monitoring, patrolling, and ensuring the safety and security of personnel and property.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing access badges for employees and visitors.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Candidates should be comfortable navigating software applications, entering data, and utilizing technology to perform job functions effectively.
• Customer service experience is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication skills, the ability to handle inquiries and complaints, and a commitment to providing excellent service to clients and colleagues.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
