About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location in Coto De Caza, CA. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide courteous customer service and clear communication to tenants and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of commercial property common areas, building exteriors, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting observations.
• Monitor access to assigned areas and report unauthorized activity, maintenance concerns, or security-related issues according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Requirements

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$21.50 / Hour

• Monday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Tuesday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Wednesday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Saturday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
