Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Monitoring

About the role

As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare-related location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for staff, visitors, and patients. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to security-related needs with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access to laboratory, office, and/or healthcare-related areas; verify visitor authorization and direct guests in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and maintain required logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$17.43 - $18.43 / hour

Schedule

• Day shift: 10:00 PM - 08:00 AM
• Monday - Thursday
