Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Guest Services

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a caring, team-oriented culture built on agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers entering and exiting the location.
• Document observations, incidents, and unusual conditions in required reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.

Pay

$17.42 / hour
