Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Guest Assistance

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific escalation and reporting procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed by site policies, and assist with maintaining orderly movement throughout the location.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol records, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• A guard card or applicable license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
