Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Incident Response

As a Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, document observations, and communicate with appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs, and provide clear handoffs to Allied Universal team members.

Requirements

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Pay

Pay Rate: $22.28 / Hour
